Dummies meeting is a great game. The rules are simple, everyone agrees to play. No talking. First one to talk is a silly billy.
What transpires is the following, in chronological order (at least in my trial of one, this is what transpired, I'd like to think it is a regular pattern as long as you don't play it too often, when some deviancy might creep in) :
- A bit of peace and quiet.
- Some hilarious efforts at sign language.
- Someone farts.
- Post-fart giggles.
- The dominant person tries to get the others to do something (like put the dishes in the dishwasher).
- The others do start doing this.
- Someone tries to pause the game so that they can get something off their chest.
- What they get off their chest is that they think that one good turn deserves another (some chocolate from the treat cupboard perhaps).
- Dominant person reminds others of all the things dominant person does for them, dominant person laughing throughout.
- Tears and sulks and storming off.
- Peace and quiet again.
